The Grantham Skatepark located at Wyndam
park, and there aint no Kevs but you do get the odd few but most of the time there cool with us.
Front of Allied carpets is quite good if your a begginer, need room
or you like to manual, nice long stretch of carpark very smooth and theres a waxed curb there to. Another god thing to do
is to use the carpark spaces to measure your manual distance, my mate ben did 10 where as i only did 6 .
The bus station, only good on a sunday
when theres only a few busses or none.
The pool at Wyndampark is ok, but its being re-built as the BMX'ers
have chipped the sides lol.
Behind B&Q havent been there in a while but it used to be good. and
at the front in the carpark there is a waxed curb.
Contact's there is a waxed curb and a slope or a flatbank for you
propper skaterz.
There is quite a big ledge at the train station, but id only go late, because
the gay! security will kick you out. same with the carpark thats close to it.
John Lee factories, some ledges a two set, and the skaterz and BMXers
build some good shit up there.
Alma park factories, again havent been in a while, but there was some little
kickers, and a small wall to a big drop, only attempt if you want a broken leg or you can control your board.
Morrisons carpark is smooth and easy to do tricks on the ramps have
ledges to but there steep and need waxing! This is on the roof by the way, also on the bottom floor where the taxi's pull
up, around the corner is a small run up and a 3 set i think it was. Correct me if i'm wrong lol.
Asda carpark is again a good place to do freestyle and manual's but it's
best to go after about 7ish i think it is on a weekend.
There is a waxed curb at the top of Queensway near that little church,
thats where i skate when i cant be arsed to go anywhere.
St Wulframs or GCHS as it is now known, round the back, small stairs and
a big flat surface.
KGGS, stairs ledges gaps, and i've even manualed ontop of the roof,
dont go up there if ya a begginer or scared of hieghts lol.
At the market Square there is that little statue thing stand on that and
look towards the pubs (cant remember what its called) and there is a small alley way go down there and there is a decent slope.
Around the back of the fabric warehouse on the high street, there
is a huge ledge, i havent skated here yet as i saw it in the day when there was workers around.
Behind wickes, there are a few kickers its not brill! but hey.
Grantham Collage is quite nice, stair sets rails etc
